KomBlocks SA is a Swiss-based company developing software solutions for commodity trading, finance, and operations.

All data is hosted and processed exclusively in Switzerland, on Infomaniak infrastructure.

2. Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data shown in the comment form, along with the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help with spam detection.

An anonymized string (hash) created from your email address may be provided to the Gravatar service to verify if you are using it.

After approval, your profile picture (if applicable) may appear publicly next to your comment.

3. Media

If you upload images to the website, avoid uploading images containing embedded location data (EXIF GPS).

Visitors to the site can download and extract location data from uploaded images.

4. Cookies

If you leave a comment, you may choose to save your name, email, and website in cookies — for convenience only.

These cookies last one year.

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies.

This cookie contains no personal data and is deleted when you close your browser.

It expires after 1 day.

Embedded content behaves exactly as if you visited the external website.

6. Who we share your data with

If you request a password reset, your IP address may be included in the reset email.

No other data is shared with third parties unless required by law or explicitly consented to.

  • Comments and their metadata are retained indefinitely to recognize and approve follow-up comments automatically.

  • Registered user profiles (if any) store the personal information provided. Users can view, edit, or delete their data anytime (except usernames).

  • Administrators may access and edit user information for maintenance or support purposes.

8. What rights you have over your data

You may request an exported file of your personal data held by KomBlocks, including any data you’ve provided.

You can also request that we erase your data, except for information we must keep for administrative, legal, or security reasons.

9. Where your data is sent

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service hosted in Switzerland.

All storage, hosting, and processing are performed on Infomaniak servers in Geneva, under Swiss data protection law.

10. Data hosting and protection

KomBlocks ensures:

  • Data hosting exclusively in Swiss data centers (Infomaniak)

  • Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS / SSL)

  • Access control via authentication and permissions

  • Regular backups within Swiss jurisdiction

Your data never leaves Switzerland and is not shared with third parties for analytics or marketing.
